AU Fahime - First Kisses

She tugged Thanos a little farther, past the kitchen and into the store room. There was a door there, but she ignored it to hide in the little corner next to the door. The alcove was somewhat dim, since the light for the rest of the room could barely reach it, but there were bags of rice that made a comfortable enough place to sit.

Which is why she put Thanos there.

"You need to help me with something," she said.

Mik - a multiversal location

The massive man wasn't in the mood to play games, so he went straight to the counter and ordered up the kind of drink list people generally made for a wedding party of forty.

Mik sighed and righted the tree.

They'd gotten him the re-enforced metal frame for his training dummy, but even then they'd had to secure it to the tree so that he didn't bury the thing.

This time, though, he'd hit it square on and it'd rocked both the tree and the dummy back.

Then the tree was right and he needed help.

"Liam?"

And the Grounder laughed and as he started weaving the magic to settle tree back into the ground, Mik started untwisting the training dummy.

It was just another day.

AU - New To London

"I was registered for the pre-med, not a literature major," she said as she looked across the desk at the registrar's office. "You've made a mistake."

"I don't know, young lady. Everything seems to be in order."

"I registered for the proper classes. I spoke to a Miss Stevenson. I looked over my schedule online and saw that everything was in order. Now I come to my dormitory to find myself with an entirely different schedule?"

"I don't know what to tell you, my dear. This is what we have you under."

You're pre-med. You might not have taken the Hippocratic Oath yet, but you still shouldn't rip her head off just because she's obviously not USING it.

Just a Quickie

Robert had a little shadow. The little shadow was much brighter than the others, with a halo of golden curls and a sunny little smile and a tendency to pick things up and look at them for a while. Robert loved his little shadow and picked him up, handing him a pretty ball as he pulled out a favorite book to read and the two of them, vampire and shadow, settled into the lush cushions of the chair near the fire.
